Ford F250 Won't take Gas in Tank, Temporary Fix, Hack, Work Around
You don’t have to remove the steering wheel to remove the steering shaft. Remove the seat by sliding it all the way forward. You might have to cut the electric wire to the rear light on the seat. The hood comes off without touching the fuel tank.
Try a actuator on a 2010 yo 2019 ford taurus.
How well has this starter held up? I’m working on a 720 gas with starter issues also.
Crazy Foam makes a product that is intended for wet areas. The regular Crazy Foam does not resist water. You might consider adding this product on the inside.
jealous, super nice.
Just flip the gas pump upside down. It works just fine
I have to chuckle when I see people putting peerock on their driveway. Doesn't pack worth a shit. Those are rated at 2000 lbs. (a ton) and if you have a plastic bed liner, they work great! With a sprayed in liner, you're screwed. They have too much grip.
👍🦅🇺🇸GO AC THANKS FOR PUTTING VIDEO ON UTUBE.
Thought it was the vents on top of the tank. Going to try this instead.
Man this was my childhood
I have a vermeer 5400 baler with an actuator box just like that. It has the 6 pole switch but only 4 wires connect to the switch. How is that possible?
Take apart the glove box door a Bungie back the wiring harness, ✌️
Great tool
Nice pull👍👍
Can you show the wiring for the indicator light? We're wiring up for a new idea baler and the video helped for the actuator but we're having trouble on the indicator light.
I'm going to buy a replacement for $115 and install it when it's warm. Thanks for the tip, I will do it next fill up. It's so annoying with the click, click, click.
you are a righteous lad, thanks!
Thank you! I just got a 2008 f250 and I have this same problem. I'm so glad I found your video before I dropped the tank. I don't pay people to work on my vehicles either. Thanks again
Your the man, thank you, thank you! You saved me a lot of research 😅
Great tip! I may have to add that z flashing you were talking about to my barn order. That would save me a lot of caulking.
What kinda work do you have done to the fuel system? 450 pump and lasered injectors?
We just put the down payment on our barn from this same company last week. We are building a 60'x80' barn with notched footer all the way around and two footers from front to back to support the 6 posts inside that support the roof and the 20' headers. I tried to get detailed building dimensions and plans from them and it's like pulling teeth. They send me nothing that actually helps me so my cement contractor can lay the notched footers perfectly. Finally they say that I can buy detailed structural plans for a fee after 3-4 emails. Your building looks great and I hope I get the same installers. Great tip and the sealer tape to go under the base plate. I'll head to Lowes or HD today.
That's not working on my truck.
Let me help you out here. I've had to replace my actuator 3 times. Getting ready for the 4th time. Short story, get a 1/4 drive thumb drive ratchet.
Can the wad of cables be popped out of the frame? Seems there is some tab holding it in. Seems if can be popped off you can move the cable back a bit or to the right.
this
Why not remove the entire glove box?
Thank you so much for this video!! It worked after I tried Everything!!❤
great vid... i recently used a OSI Quad Window, Door and Siding Sealant on the outside of mine but I'm still getting water in this one spot.. could i use the tremco dynamic fc over top of the OSI ?
Never tried what you are asking. I would suggest you call a tremco dealer and ask them. Additionally you could remove the QSI in the area you are leaking and then caulk with Tremco. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I remember when I built this 🫡
You did a great job. Very happy with your work. Hope you are still at it. You are a good representative for Carolina Carports.
@@champflyer334 still doing it, I’m glad you enjoy it
Bring us back for the minus 40 degree cold start.
You stay in the house if its that cold..... but I know what you are saying. If it ever gets that cold this year, we'll give it a try.
Allis Chalmers 👍
SOLD!
301 Allis Chalmers is one wicked little engine
I am in the process of doing the same thing. Good luck.
I am walking away from Ford forever because of this (and other reasons as well).
Thanks for the info!
Are you still happy with the building and would you buy it again. Any words of wisdom or things for me to look out for
Yes very happy with the building. The only thing that I goofed up on was the threshold at the overhead door. We had left the form out in the center of the end so we could get mixer trucks to the back to pour the floor. When we thru the form in (in a hurry) I forgot to check for level. When installing the overhead door, come to find it is out of level about 1.5 inches. Meaning the seal on the bottom of the door barely contacts the concrete on one end of the door. Its a minor issue that is more irritating than unworkable but I should have know better, but was in a hurry. Other than that, There are no real gotchas to this project. Work with your dealer or the manufacturer for building dimensions and slab dimension requirements and you should be fine.
I have that exact same issue very good info 👌 👍
Nice run! I've been contemplating on building a 180 or 185 to pull since we have a few extra but not sure if classes would let it be competitive or not. I don't like throwing money away and I at least wanna be competitive if I'm gonna pull. How has your tractor been holding up and how's it compare to the competition?
I built it to as maintenance free as possible. That said, I am in the experimental realm of what this tractor was designed for so anything can happen. Thats tractor pullin. I have a couple gremlins that i pull against. Mostly 2- 560 gas Farmalls. that are turning about 5000 RPM. Hard to beat. Now that I have this set up, Im looking forward to facing them again and see how I do. They are really nice guys and it friendly competition. In our club I have been points leader for 3 years in a row.
@@champflyer334 that's awesome to hear. Makes it fun when everyone is just there having fun and a good time.
Did you do a video on your garage door? Any info on that?!
Sir, you are a Gentleman and a Scholar Thank you so very much for your help
Did your recharge last?
Yes it has
You are right
covid is over.8weeks and still waiting. they have canceled out 2 times and if you call in the morning, they or out for lunch and at 2 pm they are still out to lunch guess they eat a lot read some of the independent review sites and you will never buy from them and there is absolutely no customer protection in their contract that should be enough to stop the sell so my lighting clone is still setting out in the weather if they dont deside to set my building soon I will have to rent a storage building more expense my advice is go to the factory purchase your building for around 200.00 you can have your building up in 2 days that is what I did on the last one but got lazy this time but I have learned my lesson good luck!
That was some awesome work with slowing throttle down getting it to hook then going another 10 feet!!
Wow 🤩 congrats to the driver great pull
Don't know about anyone else but this video is so dark it was worthless.
I lost my socket somewhere down there too. So difficult to reach with that cable in the way.
The injector pump on my 1980 Allis-Chalmers 5050 diesel seems to be making a whining noise from time to time. However, I’m not 100% sure that is where the noise is coming from. 1) how do you suggest trouble shooting whether it’s the injector pump making the whining noise and/or if the pump is going bad? 2) At what point do I want to stop using the tractor and have the injector pump repaired if it is the pump? Thank you for your help.
With the engine running, Put a large straight screwdriver on your pump. Put your ear tight on the handle end of the screwdriver. If you pump is making noise, youll hear it. If its not the pump, then move the screwdriver to other pats of the engine to identify where the noise is coming from. If it is your pump, its time for service. As for when to repair a pump, Hard starting (lots of cranking) Surging (RPM run up and down couple hundred RPM) when working the tractor, It air locks overnight (not always a pump but can be) It just flat out quits and you cant get any fuel out the injector lines. Hard starting and surging are probably the most prominent in my experience.
You should have had them do a notched edge when they poured and formed the concrete.
If I had drawings to know exact dimensions, that might have been a good idea. Carolina Carports provided no drawings for anything.
That's what I told my concrete guy I want for my barn.
what are the 2 handles on either side of the steering wheel used for, pto ? are they both for same thing or what
Left side is pto. Right side is hi lo range
